High level meeting held in Tezpur after Chinese incursion

Guwahati, Sept 26 (IBNS): A high level meeting was held in Assam's Tezpur based Army 4 corps headquarter on Monday in presence of MOS Defence Subhash Ramrao Bhamre and MOS Home Kiren Rijiju following Chinese troops incursion into Arunachal Pradesh.

Top army and intelligence officials also attended in the high level meeting.

A top defence source said that recently China's troops had crossed the border and entered into 45 kms from Indo-China border.

“Chinese troops had also made a wooden bridge at the remote area under Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh,” the source said.

Various security issues were also discussed in the high level meeting.
