He has my blessings: Modi's mother

Gandhinagar, May 16 (IBNS) As trends showed the BJP-led NDA is all set to form the next government at the Centre under the prime ministerialship of Narendra Modi, his mother Heeraben said she is very happy for her son.

"I am very happy for him. He has my blessings. I pray for the development of this country under his leadership," said Heeraben.

Modi won his seat in Vadodara. He won by a margin of 4, 03,724 votes.

Modi is also ahead in Varanasi where he is pitted against AAP candidate Arvind Kejriwal.
