Ahmedabad, Feb 27 (IBNS): BJP President Amit Shah on Saturday addressed a rally in Ahmedabad where he said Gujarat will remain the fort of the BJP.

Shah said: “Gujarat was, is and will remain a fort of BJP.”

“BJP will form government again in Gujarat after 2017 assembly elections,” he said.

“BJP victory in 2017 assembly polls will shatter hopes of opposition, which is day dreaming about change of power in Gujarat,” he said.

He said BJP workers will remove all obstacles that come between the party and victory in assembly elections

“Will win in 2017 even more convincingly under guidance of PM Narendrabhai Modi to serve 6 crore Gujaratis again,” Shah said.

Before being elected as the Prime Minister of India in 2014, Modi had served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Speaking on the Central government, Shah said: “The BJP government at centre under the leadership of Narendra Modi is marching ahead and ensuring all-inclusive growth for poor, farmers, labourers, Dalits, tribals and other backward classes.”
