Gujarat: At least four killed, 23 injured as bus hits electric pole

Junagadh/UNI: At least four passengers of a private luxury bus were killed and over 20 others injured on Saturday when one of its tyre came off and the bus collided with an electric pole near Lalpur Patiya village in Visavadar area here, police said.

A police official said that the bus was coming from Savarkundala and going towards Junagadh.

Suddenly one of tyre loosened and the bus lost control and hit a roadside electric pole, resulting in the blowing out of its roof.

Four passenger died on the spot while around 23 were injured of whom 13 sent to Junagadh civil hospital, he said.
