Gaya road rage verdict : JDU leader's son Rocky Yadav convicted for murdering Aditya Sachdeva

Patna, Aug 31 (IBNS) : A Bihar court on Thursday convicted Rocky Yadav, a politician's son, for murdering 19-year-old Aditya Sachdeva during a road rage in Gaya in May, last year, reports said.a

Rocky Yadav, whose mother is a former JDU MLC and father an influential businessman,  will be sentenced on September 6.

His mother was suspended fro the party soon after. His father  Bindi Yadav was accused of destruction of evidence to shield their son.

Holding Rocky guilty for murdering the school boy, the court said that he had shot Aditya after getting enraged when his SUV was overtaken by the victim's vehicle.

Rocky Yadav, who was driving a Range Rover accompanied by a bodyguard, has denied having committed the crime.

Aditya Sachdeva was driving home with four friends after a night out to celebrate the end of their Class 12 exams when he was killed. He died immediately.

His family has alleged that his mother's political clout could influence the outcome.
