Gas pricing: HC stays action against Moily, Ambani

New Delhi, May 9 (IBNS): The Delhi High Court on Friday stayed any action against Union Minister Veerappa Moily and industrialist Mukesh Ambani over an FIR filed by former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the KG basin gas pricing case.
The court's order comes after S-G Mohan Parasaran argued in the HC that the Delhi government had no jurisdiction to order FIR.

He  also said  that the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) does not have jurisdiction to investigate gas pricing.

Kejriwal had earlier said he ordered to register an FIR against Moily, former petroleum minister Murli Deora and RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani for conspiring to inflate the prices of gas in the capital.

The FIR had been reportedly registered under sections dealing with criminal conspiracy, cheating and other sections of the Prevention Of Corruption Act.
