G20 Summit in Bali: Narendra Modi meets Joe Biden, Emmanuel Macron

Bali: Indian PM Narendra Modi met US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron ahead of the start of the  G20 Bali Summit in Indonesia on Tuesday.

Images of his meeting with the two global leaders have been shared on the PMO India Twitter handle.

The details of the meeting are still not known.

Meanwhile, ahead of the starting of the summit, the Indian leader was was welcomed at the summit venue by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

"PM @narendramodi arrives at the @g20org Summit. He was welcomed by President @jokowi. The Summit will witness extensive deliberations on ways to overcome important global challenges. It will also focus on ways to further sustainable development across our planet," PMO India tweeted.

Earlier, Modi arrived in the city to attend the summit.

This edition of G20 Summit is crucial as at the end of it, India will take over the Group of 20 presidency for one year.
