Srinagar/UNI: At least four residential houses were gutted in two separate fire incidents across the Kashmir valley overnight.

Fire and Emergency service officials on Monday said that fire broke out in a double storey residential house at Nowpora area of Srinagar late Sunday and it engulfed another house causing extensive damage to both the structures.

The fire tenders were rushed from various stations of the Srinagar city to douse the leaping flames.

In another similar incident two more double storied houses were reduced to ashes in a devastating fire at Kunzer in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district late last night.

No one was injured in both the fire incidents, the officials said, adding the cause of fire is being ascertained.
