Former lawmaker's daughter-in-law, grandchildren die after fire in Telengana house

Warangal, Telengana, Nov 4 (IBNS) In a tragic incident, the daughter-in-law and three grandsons of a former Congress parliamentarian, Siricilla Rajaiah, were burnt to death on Wednesday after a a fire at his home in Telangana's Warangal.

Reports said Sarika and her three sons, Abhinav, 7, Ayan, 4, and Sriyan, 2, were on the first floor of the bungalow when the fire broke out, reportedly because of a gas leak.

 Rajaiah, 62, was supposed to file his nomination papers on Wednesday for the Warangal parliamentary by-election to be held on November 21

The police are investigating into the case. 

Sarika, married to Rajan's son Anil in 2002,  had filed a case of harassment last year.
