Forest fire in Himachal reaches school in Kasauli

Shimla, May 2 (IBNS) Forest fire that affected large tracts in Himchal Pradesh on Monday reached a boarding school in Kasauli and the children had to be evacuated, according to media reports.

The authorities have said that children of the affected Pinegrove School have been safely evacuated.

Kasauli, a popular hill station of Himachal is known for its boarding schools. The hill station is 67 km from Chandigarh and 77 from Shimla.
