Fire in godown at Nashik engulfs 40 tons of scrap material & cutting machine

Nashik, Jul 28 (UNI) In a massive fire, over 40 tons of scrap paper material along with paper cutting machine were destroyed at Yeola tehsil of the district in the city in the early hours on Sunday.

Fire brigade officials said the fire took place in the early hours at a godown situated on Nandgaon road in Millatnagar area.


A motorcycle was also gutted in fire, owner of the godown, Shaikh Shabbir Abdul Gafur informed.


Six fire tenders rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.

A case was registered and further investigation is on, they added.
