| | Feb 06, 2015, at 05:55 pm
Pune, Feb 6 (IBNS) In a fresh development, the Pune Police have registered an FIR against several people who participated in the AIB Roast show.

Actors like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha and  Arjun Kapoor among others have been named in the FIR.

Even video-sharing website Youtube has been named in the FIR for distributing the content of the show, reports said.

According to reports, the FIR has been filed under various several sections of the IPC including 292 (distribution of obscene content), 294 (obscene act in public place) and Section 67(a) (publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act, etc in electronic form) of the IT Act.

After the video of the show triggered a massive controversy, AIB, who had hosted the roast, removed it from Youtube this week.

"We have registered an FIR. As per the complaint, it is also against Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha," DCP Sudhakar Pathare was quoted as saying by NDTV.

The roast featured a panel of eight and ‘Roastmaster’ Karan Johar where Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor shared jokes about their on-screen and off-screen lives. The event was  filmed in a Mumbai stadium with an audience of 4,000.
