External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar formally joins BJP
New Delhi, June 24 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, officially starting a new innings in his life.
He took oath as the External Affairs Minister on May 30.
Before joining politics, Dr Jaishankar had a career of a diplomat and a former foreign secretary.

He needs to be a Member of Parliament within six months since taking oath as the Minister.
He joined the BJP in the presence of party working president JP Nadda.
