Ex-President Pranab Mukherjee's respiratory parameters improve, still on ventilator support

New Delhi/UNI: Former President Pranab Mukherjee's respiratory parameters showed a slight improvement while other vitals continue to be stable, the Army Research and Referral Hospital Delhi said here on Thursday.

However, Mukherjee is still on ventilatory support and under intensive care.

On Wednesday, that the former President developed symptoms of a lung infection.

He was admitted to the R&R hospital on August 10 and had to undergo an emergency life saving brain surgery after the discovery of a clot.

Mukherjee, 84, has earlier tested positive for COVID-19.
