New Delhi/IBNS: Amid violence in parts of Delhi over the new citizenship law, which left at least five people killed, US President Donald Trump will spend a busy second day of his visit to India in the national capital on Tuesday.

Trump is all set to sit for bilateral talks with the Indian PM.

The talks are crucial specially after the visiting President on Monday announced that deals to sell state-of-the-art military helicopters and other equipment worth more than $3 billion will be sealed on Tuesday.

The two leaders praised each other during the Namaste Trump event in Ahmedabad's Motera Stadium in front of over 1 lakh crowd who had gathered at the venue to witness the event.

“We make the greatest weapons ever made: airplanes, missiles, rockets, ships. We make the best. And we’re dealing now with India. But this includes advanced air defence systems and armed and unarmed aerial vehicles,”  Trump said during his speech.

On the second day of his India visit, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

They will visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.

Incidentally, Trumps had visited Sabarmati Ashram on Monday.

Apart from meeting President Ram Nath Kovind, Trump is expected to attend events at the US embassy here, media reports said.
