Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of Malaysia calls on PM Modi

New Delhi, July 19 (IBNS): Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of Malaysia called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister warmly recalled his successful visit to Malaysia last year for the ASEAN and related Summits, as well as for a bilateral visit.

Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi briefed the Prime Minister on the state of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of counter-terrorism, cyber security and trans-national crimes, read a government statement.

The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to the Malaysian Prime Minister to visit India in the near future.
