'Deeply hurt': CPI-M on WB Guv Jagdeep Dhankhar sharing former CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharya's pics
Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has landed himself in the middle of a fresh row after he shared a few pictures of ailing former state Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya on social media.
Dhankhar, who had met Bhattacharya at the latter's residence on Durga Ashtami, shared the pictures, drawing sharp reactions from the Left party.
A tweet put up by the West Bengal CPI-M reads, "While we at West Bengal CPI-M appreciate Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar ji's (Governor of WB) genuflection of visiting our ex-CM Comrade Buddhadeb Bhattacharya at his residence to inquire after his health we are deeply hurt by the pictures that were taken during your visit & shared by you."
Another tweet reads, "Photographing him when he is most vulnerable and then publishing them on social media has deeply hurt the sentiments of not only CPI-M sympathizers spread all across the globe but also general people at large. We would be appreciative if those pictures were taken down."

Despite the CPI-M's criticism, the tweets were not taken down by Dhankhar till Monday afternoon.
