New Delhi/UNI/IBNS: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in its late night operation on Thursday arrested Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.

"A senior Delhi government officer Gopal Krishna Madhav was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh", sources said.

Soon after the arrest, the accused was taken to CBI headquarters, here, the source further said.

The arrest comes just a day before the polling day of Delhi assembly polls.

Hours after the arrest, Sisodia tweeted, "I came to know that the CBI has arrested a GST inspector while he was taking bribe. He was my OSD as well. The CBI should punish him fast and hard. I have myself led to arrests of several such corrupted officials in last five years."
