Darjeeling: GJM-police clash kills one, four injured
Darjeeling, Oct 13 (IBNS): Violence once again erupted in the hills of West Bengal, as a clash between policemen and the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) faithfuls killed an officer and injured four others on Friday morning, media reports said.
The clash broke out after police raided the secret shelter of GJM supporters where several arms and ammunition were allegedly kept.
Police have recovered one AK 47 rifle after carrying out the raid.
The deceased officer has been identified as Amitabh Mullick.
