Curfew imposed allover Kashmir as separatists undertake protest programme

Srinagar, Aug 12 (IBNS) : Authorities have imposed curfew in all ten districts across kashmir Valley to foil the protest programme called by separatist groups on Friday.

According to reports, large number of security personnel are patrolling on roads and not allowing anybody  to come out from their houses.

Authorities have also suspended all mobile network in the valley to stop spread of rumours. However BSNL post paid mobile service is working in the valley.

A month-long  ban on mobile  and internet services has already affected the private mobile companies badly.

Rail Services have remained  suspended since july  eight while schools are badly effected due to curfew and protests.

The  valley witnesses massive protests after top Hizb militant Burhan Wani was killed in an  encounter with security forces in Kokernag area of South Kashmir on July 8 .

So far 60 civilians have been killed and  6000  injured since Burhan Wani's death.

Kashmir separatist groups have given call for a prolonged strike till August 18 and have appealed to the people to follow the programme strictly.
