Couple died when lightning hit them
Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, Apr 30 (UNI) A couple died when lighting struck them at Teguru village in the district on Monday late evening.
Police said on Tuesday that the incident took place when they were returning home with domestic animals tied in the agriculture land and all off a sudden heavy rain lashed and lightning struck them.
The victims have been identified as Photographer Manjunath Achari (51) and his wife Bharathi (44).
The bodies were handed over to the family members after postmortem.
