Congress President Rahul Gandhi to visit Assam today

Guwahati, Feb 26 (UNI/IBNS) : Congress President Rahul Gandhi is all set to visit Assam today to kick-start his campaign for the Lok Sabha polls.

Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in Guwahati and will also hold a discussion with the Northeast Congress Coordination Committee, a forum of Congress leaders from the Northeastern states.

Mr Gandhi will arrive at LGBI Airport at 12.30 pm and will travel by road to public meeting venue at Veterinary field, Khanapara. He will also have interaction with North East DCC and BCC presidents.

“We are expecting around 1 lakh people from the different districts of the state for this rally,” said APCC President, Ripun Bora.
