CM Adityanath inaugurates AI-based COVID diagnosis tool in UP

Lucknow/UNI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated an artificial intelligence-based COVID-19 diagnosis tool, developed by the joint research team of AKTU and KGMU.

The tool, which uses X-ray images to identify the Novel Coronavirus patients, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister at Irvin, here on Tuesday night.

Speaking on the occasion, Adityanath said to make this tool more effective, the department of Medical Education and Health will cooperate in providing medical images.

KGMU VC Dr MLB Bhatt said the AKTU has taken up the task of developing this tool, which has been found to function with 99.98 per cent accuracy.

Technical Education Minister Kamal Rani, Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna, Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh and Chief Secretary R K Tiwari were present on the occasion.
