Chennai, June 30 (IBNS) Police have released a new photo captured on a CCTV camera of the alleged killer of a 24-year-old woman working in Infosys who was hacked to death in a busy railway station in Chennai six days ago, sending shockwaves in the city.
In the image, the suspect is seen carrying a backpack and wearing a check shirt. Police have urged citizens to dial 1512 if they spot the suspect who could be the killer of Swathi S with a sickle last Friday.
The father of the victim said their family members are afraid going out of the house since the incident took place and the killer still at large.
Swathi S was killed in the station on June 24 with no one coming to her rescue.
The killer left the spot without being chased or resisted.
