CBI raids several locations in Kolkata, Patna in a corruption case

New Delhi/Kolkata/Patna, Oct 10 (IBNS): Anti-corruption branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday carried out raids at several premises in West Bengal and Bihar in connection with a corruption case of Customs department, sources said.

According to reports, CBI officials carried out search operations at eight locations in Kolkata and its outskirts while at least three premises in and around Patna were also raided.

CBI officials said that residences and offices of few senior Customs officers and agents were raided in West Bengal and its neighbouring state Bihar in connection with the Central probe agency's ongoing probe into a nearly 100-crore corruption case.
