Cartoonist RK Laxman critical
Pune, Jan 18 (IBNS): The condition of eminent cartoonist R.K. Laxman, who is undergoing treatment Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune, is said to be critical, media reports said on Sunday.
He is 94.
"Mr. Laxman was suffering from a urinary infection and had a multi-organ failure," The Hindu reported quoting medical sources at the hospital.
According to reports, the cartoonist had undergone dialysis treatment on Saturday.
He is best known for his creation'The Common Man', for his daily cartoon strip.
