Bus mows down seven school children, teacher on Agra-Lucknow expressway in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Jun 11 (IBNS): Seven school children and a teacher were run over by a bus on Agra-Lucknow expressway near Kannauj city of Uttar Pradesh on early Monday morning, media reports said.

The accident occurred at around 4 am.

Three children were rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

The incident occurred after the bus, which was carrying the children, ran out of diesel.

Another bus mowed down seven children who were trying to arrange diesel by standing on the expressway.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a compensation of Rs. two lakhs to the relatives of the dead children and Rs. 50,000 for the injured kids.
