BSF signs MoU with NSDC for special skill development opportunities for their personnel and family members

New Delhi, Jul 31 (IBNS): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Border Security Force (BSF) and the National Skill Development Corporation( NSDC), in New Delhi on Monday.

The MoU will focus on providing special skill training to serving and retiring BSF India personnel and to the family members of those serving or retired or martyred.

Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge), Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, were present at the signing, along with DG, BSF, K.K. Sharma and MD & CEO, NSDC, Manish Kumar.

DG K K Sharma said that under PMKVY, this MoU is expected to be beneficial for retired BSF personnel in resettling their lives after retirement, according to media reports.
