Srinagar, Oct 3 (IBNS): At least two J-e-M militants were killed and four security personnel were injured in an ongoing attack at the Border Security Force (BSF) camp near the Srinagar airport on Tuesday morning.

Sources told IBNS that heavily armed militants attack 182 battalion camp in Humhama at around 4.30 a.m and entered the camp.

"Three BSF men and a policeman were injured. Firing is ongoing," a BSF official said.

As the militants entered the camp's administrative block, they were surrounded by the forces, official added.

Jammu and Kashmir police termed it as a suicide attack.

Apart from the two slain militants, operation against one holed-up militant inside the camp is on.

Meanwhile, Srinagar International Airport resumed its services following a seizure in operations early morning due to the attack.

Following the attack, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will chair a high-level meeting at around 11:30 am.
