Broadband internet service restored in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar, Sept 17 (IBNS): Broadband internet service was restored in the Kashmir Valley on Saturday evening.

Ban was imposed on Sept 12 to thwart protest rallies on Eid ud Adha

Only BSNL postpaid service , working since July 8,  while other services are barred including mobile internet.

Castigating Mehooba Mufti-led government, journalists from the Kashmir Valley on Saturday staged a protest against the government for imposing a blanket ban on the internet service.

Hundreds of journalists on Saturday staged a protest in Press  Enclave here, demanding immediate restoration of internet services in Kashmir.
