New Delhi, Jun 17(UNI) As he arrived in Parliament after his election to the Lok Sabha from Gurdaspur, actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol made heads turn , creating tremendous buzz among mediapersons as well as MPs.

As soon as he arrived in the Parliament premises, Sunny was surrounded by a horde of mediapersons eager to get a sound byte from the actor, best know for his role as a 'pakistan basher' in 'Gadar'.

A reticent Deol, however, refused to oblige the media, instead making his way to the Lok Sabha, where he will be administered oath as MP.

Mr Deol, who has made his political debut with the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket, is expected to take oath as a first time MP later on Monday or on Tuesday.

Sunny Deol defeated Suni jakhar of the Congress by a margin of 82,459 votes from Gurdaspur seat.
