BJP president JP Nadda to campaign in poll-bound West Bengal today

| @indiablooms | Mar 16, 2021, at 04:27 pm

Kolkata/IBNS: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will on Tuesday campaign in poll-bound West Bengal, where the saffron party is aiming to wrest power.

Nadda will hold a roadshow in Bishnupur at 11:30 am and conduct a public meeting in Kotulpur at 3 pm.

His campaigning will take place a day after Union Home Minister and BJP stalwart Amit Shah held twin rallies in the state, which will go to polls in eight phases between Mar 27 and Apr 29.

Shah, a gamechanger for his saffron party, on Sunday once again reiterated that the BJP will win over 200 seats in the upcoming polls, dashing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's hope to return to power.

Under Shah, the BJP has swept all major regions of the country and West Bengal is undoubtedly the last frontier to be conquered leaving aside south India.
