BJP names 149 candidates for UP polls

New Delhi, Jan 16 (IBNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced a list of 149 candidates for the upcoming Assmebly polls in Uttar Pradesh.

The party named 64 candidates for the Uttarakhand assembly polls.

In the second list of candidates for the Punjab Assmebly polls, the BJP named six candidates.

The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met under the Presidentship of party chief Amit Shah.

The decision on the names of the candidates for the polls were taken during the meet.
