BJP leader Baddam Bal Reddy passes away; CM mourns demise

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and three-term MLA Baddam Bal Reddy passed away while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital here on Saturday.

He was 74.

Reddy represented the Karwan Assembly constituency in Hyderabad for three terms in 1980s and 1990s.

Several state BJP leaders flocked to the hospital as Reddy's condition turned "very critical" and was on life support systems.

His last rites will be performed in the Jubilee Hills area here on Sunday.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao mourned the death of Reddy.
