Bihar undertrial shot dead in court premises

Patna, May 11 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Armed criminals shot dead an undertrial prisoner in the premises of a Bihar court on Thursday after he was brought there in connection with a case.

The incident that triggered panic among the people took place in the Betia court premises in West Champaran district.

The victim identified as Babloo Dube had been brought to the court for his production in a case when the criminals fired shots, killing him on the spot, media reports said.

According to reports, the the criminals pumped five bullets in to his body before fleeing the scene. Police have started an investigation.
