Bihar: Two children killed in Chhapra fire

Chhapra, May 7 (UNI): Two children were burnt alive and six others were injured in an accidental fire that broke out at Dhenuki Mania Nattoli under Panapur police station area in Saran district today.

Police said here that fire broke out in a hut and engulfed a large number of houses in the area in no time, killing two children.

All the six injured had been admitted to a local hospital, police added.

"The deceased were identified as seven-year-old Nandini Kumari and five-year-old Ashik Kumar," police said, adding that the district administration had assured assistance to victims following government rules.
