Bihar: Farmer shot dead
Begusarai, Apr 15 (UNI) A farmer was shot dead in Bhagwanpur ‘diara’ (riverine locality) under Bachhwara police station area in the district late last night.
Police said here that criminals gunned down Jugo Rai (42), a native of Bhagwanpur diara, when he was returning home with crops on a tractor. Sources said that the outlaws looted the crops laden on the tractor.
The reason behind the murder was war of supremacy between him and another farmer.
Police said that the body had been sent for autopsy.
