Chhapra, Jun 19 (UNI) Former MLA of Marhaura Lalbabu Rai had a providential escape when criminals made a murderous attack on him near Pojhi Kapur village in Saran district late last night.

Former MLA Mr Rai registered an FIR at Marhaura police station in this connection.

In his FIR, former MLA said that around seven criminals driving car and motorcycle started firing on him when he was returning on his private vehicle after attending a marriage function.
