Bengaluru: Journalist tests positive for Coronavirus

Bengaluru/UNI: A journalist working for a Kannada news Television Channel, was one of the six new fresh cases, who had contracted for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, in the city on Saturday.

According to official sources, the journalist, who had opted for State Government-sponsored Covid test at a designated hospital in the city, was found positive for the pandemic.

Immediately after the result was received, the journalist, working as a Cameraman for a TV channel, had been got admitted to the Victoria Hospital, which was designated for treating only COVID-19 patients.

The total number of Corona cases in Karnataka was surged to 489 including 18 deaths and 156 discharged from the hospitals.
