Ayodhya case: LK Advani, Joshi, Kalyan to record their statement from June 30

Lucknow/UNI:  After a long wait of over two decades, the prime accused of the Ayodhya demolition case on December 6,1992 would be recording their statements in the trial court from next week.

A total of 32 accused including former Deputy PM Lal Krishna Advani, former UP CM Kalyan Singh and former union minister Murli Manohar Joshi among others have been informed along with their counsels of the date when they will have to appear virtually to record their statements.

Now the court has fixed the dates for the BJP senior leaders to record their statements, mostly through video conferencing.

Already 19 people have recorded their statements so far and now just 13 were left.

According to sources here on Sunday, Advani is slated to record his statement on June 30, former union minister Dr Murli Manohar Joshi on July 1 and Kalyan Singh on July 2.
