Australia: Indian origin bus driver killed after set on fire

Briseban, Oct 28 (IBNS): An Indian origin Australian bus driver was killed after a man set him on fire on Friday, media reports said.

The driver was identified as Manmeet Alisher, also known as Manmeet Sharma.

Security officials have started a homicide investigation into the matter.

A man has been taken into custody in connection with the matter.

Police Commissioner Ian Stewart  was quoted as saying by The brisbanetimes.com.au: "A man threw some type of incendiary device at the driver, sadly, the driver died as a result of these injuries."
