Aurobindo Pharma executive attacked with AK-47
According to reports, the incident happened when Reddy wnet into his car following his morning walk.
A man forced his way into the car and pointed the AK 47 at him.
"I told him 'if you want I will give you money', even as I pushed the nozzle of the gun towards the roof of the car and shouted for help,'' Mr Reddy told NDTV.
Reddy's brother came to help him and both pulled him outside the car.
The attacker had by then fired a volley of shots.
"Prasad Reddy held the attacker from behind, but he bit Mr Reddy and ran away, leaving behind his AK-47 and a bag with clothes," NDTV reported.
Police have started investigating the matter.
No one was injured in the incident, reports said.
