New Delhi/IBNS: Reacting to the attack on students of Delhi's Gargi College by a group of men, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said such incidents can't be tolerated.

Kejriwal said in a tweet, "The ill treatment of our daughters at Gargi College is very saddening and depressing. This can't be tolerated at any cost. The perpetrators must be punished hard. And it must be ensured that students at our colleges are safe."

The students at all-women Gargi College have alleged that they were molested, harassed for hours by a group of men who had barged into the campus during a college event on Feb 6.

The students have also planned a protest inside the college on Monday.

The authorities of the college have not filed a complaint with the police yet.

It was reported earlier that when the students had raised the matter with the college authorities, they said the girl should not attend college fests if they feel so scared about their safety.

The matter was raised by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP in the Rajya Sabha during zero hour.
