Asst secretary of Skill Development dept of Mantralaya commits suicide

Solapur, Mar 22 (UNI) An Assistant secretary in the Skill Development department of Mantralaya committed suicide in the Marwade village of the district here.

Police said after taking dinner last night, Vijay Bhagwat Pawar (40) entered into a fight with his wife Sonali Pawar on pity issues.

In a fit of rage, Pawar fired at his wife Solani Pawar injuring her.

Later,Pawar committed suicide by hanging himself at a ceiling fan at his house.

Meanwhile, the condition of Sonali is stated to be out of danger.

Pawar was on a two-day leave and was on a visit to his native place, police added.
