Assembly polls: Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi participate in road show in UP

Agra, Feb 3 (IBNS): Showcasing their strength, Congress supremo Rahul Gandhi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav participated in a road show in Agra city on Friday.

"Rahul Gandhi & UP CM, Akhilesh Yadav greeting the crowds at the Road Show in Agra, Uttar Pradesh," the Congress party tweeted.

Uttar Pradesh will soon elect a new assembly in the state.

Speaking to India Today on Samajwadi Party's alliance with the Congress, Akhilesh Yadav said :"The Congress may be weak in Uttar Pradesh. But with us (Samajwadi Party), they have a chance."

He said people make leaders of the nation.

"It's people who make leaders. Names like Pappu don't matter," Yadav said on Rahul Gandhi.
