Assembly Polls: AAP marching towards victory in Punjab

Amritsar: Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party is putting up a strong show in Punjab as it is leading in 82 seats as counting of vote for the Assembly polls is currently underway, slowly inching towards coming to power in the state.

The Congress party, which is currently ruling the state, is ahead in just 18 seats.

Punjab Lok Congress leader and former CM Capt Amarinder Singh is trailing from Patiala Urban.

Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia trailing from Amritsar East.
