Assam: Woman militant leader nabbed
Guwahati, Apr 20 (UNI) A woman leader of militant group NDFB (S), Sagorika Basumutary, was apprehended by security forces in Chirang district of Assam yesterday.
A defence spokesperson said here today that a joint team of Army and Chirang police nabbed the self-styled lance corporal of the outfit at a mobile check post near Bamungaon, in the district.
A foreign made pistol and live ammunition were recovered from her.
