Assam police arrest four more persons linked with AQIS & ABT

Guwahati: Police arrested 4 persons linked with AQIS and Ansarullah Bangla Team from Assam's Nalbari and Tamulpur district.

A senior police official said that, Nalbari district police arrested two persons and Tamulpur district police arrested other two persons linked with AQIS.

The arrested persons were identified as Md Habel Ali, Abu Raihan, Sadeq Ali and Jakibul Ali and they lured youth to join Bangladesh based terror outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) affiliated to Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS).

Earlier, Assam police arrested 38 persons linked with AQIS/ABT and busted several modules in different parts of the state.
