Assam: Girls tie rakhis to BSF personnel along Indo-Bangladesh border

Guwahati, Aug 15 (IBNS): Girls tied ‘Rakhi’ to Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed at Kakripara BOP in Assam’s South Salmara Mankachar district along Indo-Bangladesh border on the occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ on Thursday.

The girls from different parts of the bordering areas visited the Kakripara BOP and tied the rakhis on the wrists of the BSF personnel.

The BSF personnel were also greeted with sweets after the girls tied the rakhis on their wrists.

On the other hand, the ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was also celebrated at the Rajyoga Training centre at Mukamua in Assam’s Nalbari district.
