Assam Congress chief Anjan Dutta dies

New Delhi, June 16 (IBNS) Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Anjan Dutta died at AIIMS hospital on Thursday.

He was 64 when death came.

According to media reports, he died  due to cardiac failure.

Meanwhile, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has mourned his death.

"Extremely saddened by the untimely demise of Shri Anjan Duttaji, Assam PCC President. His passing away is a big loss to @INCIndia & to Assam," Office of RG tweeted.

"My deepest condolences to his family," it said.
